Welcome to the very first edition of “Providence Crystal Ball”. What is PCB you ask? PCB is going to attempt to simulate every Providence game using a CPU vs. CPU matchup using “College Hoops 2K8”. College Hoops has been extremely accurate in predicting games, compiling a 4,789-7 record last year (unofficial number, give or take 4,000)
There is no 08-09 version for any college basketball game yet, but last year’s edition allowed you to create and share new rosters. So, I downloaded an updated roster and let the computer go at it.
I recorded some of the highlights for the game, and my cousin “Ras Kev” was kind enough to provide the announcing.
