Since Herb Hill and Austin Croshere don’t get any run on their teams, Ryan Gomes is the only former Friar in the NBA who gets any serious playing time. So, I am going to try to give a little Gomes update after each Timberwolves game.
The Minnesota Timberwolves dropped to 4-13 with a 100-89 loss to the Orlando Magic last night.
Due to their injuries, Gomes moved to the power forward position, but still started.
He logged 34 minutes and was 5-13 from the field (1-2 from downtown), scoring 11 points and pulling in 4 rebounds. Gomes also had a steal and a block.
The Wolves let the game slip away in the 3th quarter when they only scored 12 points.

Through 17 games, here are Gomes’ averages.
Minnesota’s next game is Friday night against the Nets in NJ
