Since Austin Croshere don’t get any run on his team, Ryan Gomes is the only former Friar in the NBA who gets any serious playing time. So, I am going to try to give a little Gomes update after each Timberwolves game.
The Minnesota Timberwolves’ have lost again. Nothing to see here, move along.
TWELVE losses in a row.
In their latest game played on Saturday night, The Houston Rockets had the luxury of defeating Minnesota by a score of 109-102. Tracy McGrady led the way for Houston and scored 23 points. Aaron Brooks had 18 points and 10 rebounds — not the same shitty quarterback Aaron Brooks who terrorized my fantasy team when I drafted him a few years ago for some inexplicable reason.
The Wolves are now 0-7 since Kevin McHale took over as coach.

Ryan Gomes had his 3rd straight sub par game, only getting 6 points on 2-9 shooting (1-4 from downtown). While he didn’t commit any turnovers in 30 minutes of play, Gomes only registered 2 rebounds and one assist.
Gomes’ scoring average dipped below 10 ppg for the first time in a while.
Through 26 games, here are Gomes’ averages.
———————————————
30 minutes
9.9 Points
4.0 Rebounds
1.8 Assists

Minnesota is now 4-22 (2nd worst record in the NBA — Oklahoma City is 3-25!). Their next game is Tuesday night against San Antonio.
