Syracuse guard Andy Rautins doubtful for Orange’s game at Providence

After suffering a severe sprain in his right ankle in Sunday’s game against Louisville, Syracuse University guard Andy Rautins is doubtful for the Orange’s game at Providence on Wednesday.

Rautins sustained the injury in the second half of Syracuse’s 67-57 loss to Louisville at the Carrier Dome.

Rautins did not practice with the Orange on Monday. When asked about Rautins’ status, Syracuse coach Jim Boeheim said, “I don’t think he’s going to play.”
