Others to keep an eye on
Providence at West Virginia, Saturday, 4 p.m., Big East syndication/ESPN FullCourt: Providence has lost two in a row and is in danger of falling out of the NCAA at-large picture. The Friars need to buckle down defensively. They have allowed at least 90 points in four consecutive games and in five of their past six, including 94 in each of their past three. WVU has lost three of four and this will be the third game in a tough six-game stretch in which the Mountaineers already have lost to Louisville and Syracuse. They play Pitt, Villanova and Notre Dame in a row after this one.
