Last week’s ballot
Dropped Out: West Virginia (#23), Utah St. (#25).
- So, UCONN gets their second crack at being #1…can someone please hold on to this thing? Being a BIG EAST snob, I’d rather see UCONN hold onto it rather than UNC. Still, 3 out of the top 5 is good for me.
- Memphis just keeps on winning…I still could not justify putting them above Pittsburgh. Afterall, Pittsburgh ran into a buzzsaw at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center against Providence….can’t blame them for losing too much
- Arizona St, Clemson, and Marquette had big nosedives thanks to two losses in the week. Marquette played some tough BIG EAST competition so it was hard to drop them a lot, but losing Dominic James means they are no longer a top-10 team anyway.
- Duke will not go away.
- I almost considered putting Providence at #25, for the sole purpose of trying to wrestle away Chris from IBBW’s reoccurring spot in the Coulter/Kos award for biggest home team bias. Then I realized by putting them at 25, my BlogPoll voting privileges would probably be stripped from me. Oh well, if we beat Nova on Thursday, look for a Top 25 placement!
