I got an email from someone on behalf of Coca-Cola informing me of a contest called Coke Zero – “Taste the Madness

In celebration of this time of year, Coke Zero is calling on fans from Providence and around the country to demonstrate their passion for their favorite college basketball team and giving them the chance to be featured in a new TV commercial debuting during the NCAA championship game.

Between now and the NCAA Men’s Final Four, fans can log onto the Coke Zero “March Madabase” — http://www.tastethemadness.com — to upload their craziest and most fanatical videos/photos supporting their favorite NCAA college basketball team

The best fan submitted entries will be featured nationally in a new Coke Zero ad airing immediately prior to tipoff during the championship game on April 6th. Coke Zero has made just two of these before

Here is their commercial last year featuring Kansas

Apparently there isn’t any Providence related videos or pictures, so get to it folks!  Here is a St. John’s one that was added so far this year.   We can top this!

I know we have that one YouTube video that a fan filmed of the court storm versus Pitt.   Can someone take that video and make something super cool?  Come on students, come up from under that snuggie, put down that can of Busch Light and your PS3 controller and get crackin’!  We know you have plenty of free time!  Let’s get Providence College some pub!
