As part of ESPN’s 24 hour straight college basketball marathon starting at midnight tonight, Hawaii will be playing at 4AM eastern.  Who cares you might ask?  Well, former PC sharpshooter / neck-tattooed guard DWAIN WILLIAMS is on the team.  How did I not know this?  This must have occured during my offseason hibernation (last I remember Oregon State wouldn’t take him).

Nevertheless, Dwain has played in Hawaii’s first two games so far, and whattyda know?  HE’S TAKING A BOATLOAD OF THREES!

Friday against Southern Utah – 16 points, 4-13 shooting (2-7 3FG)

Sunday against McNeese State – 20 points, 7-16 shooting (4-12 3FG)

Boy, he would have fit right in at the DUNK on Sunday!

So, if you happen to be awake at 4AM for whatever the reason – working late, coming back from a party, returning from the hospital for trying to gauge out your own eyes after watching this horrific MNF game (or just being a Cleveland fan in general), etc etc.  Flip on the WWL to see it DWAINING THREES like its 2006.

Oh, and if you make it to 6AM Tim Welsh will be doing the St. Peter’s Monmouth game (I think he’s great on TV by the way).  I wonder if we can find Tuuka Kotti on TV somewhere?

Thanks to Twitter user TheRoundtable for the heads up on this one…a H/T to you good sir.
