WHAT TO: KNOW

Game Time: 7:00PM

Opponent: Brown (4-6) of the Ivy League

Location: The DUNK

Spread: Providence -18

WHAT TO: LOOK FOR

  • Providence to continue to put away the lesser competition, especially on their own home court.  Brown has not beat anyone of interest, and their defense has been a big culprit.  They come into the game with an adjusted defensive efficiency rating of 114.5 (ranked #335).
  • Brown is ranked DEAD LAST in the nation in turnover percentage (13.1%), so we will probably see way less than the 19 turnovers the Friars had on Saturday against URI.
  • Greedy and Dixon should be able to clean up on the glass, as Brown has had little success in offensive rebounding (25.6%, ranked #330).

Projo.com: Friars search for consistency in meeting with Brown

“What you’re going to see from this Providence team is going to be exciting for our fans to come out and watch because they’re not sure what they’re going to see,” Davis said. “One time, we might play just great. We’ve already played some great basketball, but we haven’t played that way for 40 minutes. But there will be stretches where you say ‘Wow, that team is going to be pretty good.’ ”
