OK, we knew that future Friar Gerard Coleman was pretty damned good and maybe even underrated for a Top-100 recruit, but apparently he just had a ridiculous game against some real bad-arsed competition.  Although his Tilton HS team lost in the final seconds to Winchendon, Gerard Coleman dropped 46 points.

Friarbasketball was there to check out the game, so head on over there for his excellent writeup.

How good was Coleman on the night?  How does 28 second half points against a team ESPN ranked third in their national preseason prep rankings sound?  It looked even better than it sounds.

Best player in a game of great ones.  I came to this game excited to see Coleman once again, but also looking forward to checking Angel Nunez and Khem Birch after they visited the Dunk last weekend.  Coleman was so dominant that it was hard to focus on anything else.  I had him unofficially at 46 points for the night, with countless steals.

With Vincent Council running the point, I can’t wait to see what Coleman can do in a Friar uniform.
