Norwhich Bulletin: New London wins 5th straight ECC title
New London silenced the Ledyard fans and their own as it scored 22 of the first 25 points. The Whalers made it look easy by making 10 of their first 13 shots. McDonald’s All-American Kris Dunn led the way with 15 of his game-high 37 points. It was a far cry from the Whalers’ more difficult start in a semifinal win over Norwich Free Academy on Thursday night.
“NFA is a different type of team than Ledyard. They’re more experienced, and the traps and things don’t work as well as they did against Ledyard,” Parker said.
