Here is a nice pic of one of Kadeem’s pin blocks from Saturday against Mississipi State. Maybe this should be on PINTEREST? AMIRITE?!
For his efforts that also included a career high 32 points, Kadeem Batts was named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll this week. Bryce Cotton made it two weeks ago.
Despite what I posted from Adam Zagoria earlier today, nothing has been decided yet on Bryce Cotton or Kris Dunn yet according to Kevin McNamara.
IF? I have no words…
“That’s why it’s a waiting game because they’re worried about if they did something collectively and tried to reform with others. It all goes around to the brand of the Big East and the Garden.”
The Garden and the Big East Conference recently extended their deal through the 2025-26 season.
“That’s the problem, right?” the source said. “The contract is with the Big East and so if they leave, they lose that tournament, they believe.”
Hey, someone finally said something! This note is a little vague, but what is interesting is that there is no mention of the BIG EAST at all. In previous statements there was always the stock quote about how “the BIG EAST Conference will continue to be one of the premier athletic conferences in the nation” (after ND left).
We believe that Providence College men’s basketball is poised for a run of great success and is on the verge of becoming one of the top college basketball teams in the country. We want to create an environment that allows us to sustain success and provide you, the fans, with the excitement that you deserve.
While it may appear to some that recent realignment news is eroding the environment for our men’s basketball program, we remain optimistic about our future. We believe that with change comes opportunity. There are opportunities now for us to position our athletic department and our men’s basketball program for long-term success. We will explore every opportunity in order to reach our goal.
Friar commit Rodney Bullock begins his senior season tomorrow night when his Kecoughtan team faces Denbigh. Brandon Austin and his Imhotep team kicks off the season on Friday, December 7th against Sankofa Charter.
Both of these 2014 targets played at the Hoop Mountain Classic at St. Andrew’s School in Rhode Island this weekend. Here is a fresh new mix from 2eZ.
Um, thanks? Does Dana O’Neill realize HOW little Ed Cooley has to work with?
13. Providence. Give Ed Cooley credit. With little to work with – Vincent Council is out four weeks with a hamstring injury — the Friars are at least beating the teams they are supposed to beat.
In the last week, Marshon Brooks has played a total of 6 minutes. He hasn’t seen the court in 4 of the Nets’ last 6 games. As Seinfeld would say – What’s the deeeeeeal with that? Apparently Keith Bogans is the biggest reason Marshon isn’t playing much according to the New York Post. At least he isn’t a rookie anymore (the veterans wouldn’t let that slide since it was a shortened season last year).
More on Marshon from STACK.
Well if we can’t see Marshon out on the court, might as well hear what he has to say about other stuff..
