PC-St. Mary’s ESPNU Stream (Hopefully)
Right now hes got the G’Town game on ESPN2
Game should start at 6PM because the last game went to OT…hopefuly the guy that runs this stream will put the game on!
Will Anyone Be Watching the Game tonight?
The St. Mary’s game will be on ESPNU at 5:30PM. Unfortunately, it looks like I’ll be listening to the game online since I don’t get that channel or ESPN Full Court. If anyone will watching the game and is interested in running a live blog to talk about what they are seeing for those without TV access, I will be more than glad to set one up. Just let me know in the comments.

The Friars will return to action on Sunday, November 30 versus Saint Mary’s College to determine the fourth and sixth place finishers in the final round of the 76 Classic at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, Calif. It will mark the second meeting all-time between the two Catholic colleges from opposite coasts. In the only meeting all-time, the Friars defeated Saint Mary’s,...

Two-For-One Gomes Tracker Sale
Since Herb Hill and Austin Croshere don’t get any run on their teams, Ryan Gomes is the only former Friar in the NBA who gets any serious playing time. So, I am going to try to give a little Gomes update after each Timberwolves game.
Minnesota has played two games since my last Gomes report.

Friars Steal One From Charlotte
I didn’t get a chance to see or hear any of the game. I wish I could have taped it somehow though (it wasn’t on regular ESPN channels though), because the Friars pulled off a very important victory. Down 62-57 with 3 minutes to go, the Providence Friars were looking at a disastrous 0-2 record in the Anaheim Classic. What did they do? They made sure Charlotte would not score for the...

Friars Lose 72-56...At least they tried?
Not many positives to take out of this game, other than reiterating what the announcers kept saying — “The effort was there”, “They played”, yadda yadda yadda. While Providence showed some heart in various spurts throughout the game, they couldn’t capitilize on Baylor’s mistakes, and could just not for the life of them get the lead to under 10. Every...

Looking for the mid-major contenders: Northeastern
From ESPN.com
Northeastern (Colonial) San Diego excelled last year despite having a very young team, and won a NCAA game out of a No. 13 seed with a roster that included seven freshmen — it’s a big reason they’re heavily regarded again in the WCC this year. Instead of relying on a boatload of seniors, last year’s Toreros did it with a strong policy of stopping 3s and...

Friars Need to Beware of "The Cookie Monster"
Everyone knows that Baylor has a tremendous backcourt. First team All-Big 12 guard Curtis Jerrels has led the team in scoring in all his 3 years with the Bears. Another senior guard, Henry Dugat, scores in double figures and shoots around 40% from downtown. Even sophomore LaceDarius Dunn is joining in on the scoring, leading the team through the first four games (17.3 ppg), including a game...

Game #4 Roundup Extravaganza: PC vs. Maine
I think the Northeastern loss really fucked with Friar fans’ heads. How else would you explain being slightly concerned with this team coming to the Dunk. Yeah so they were off to a surprising 3-0 start, winning all their games on the road — but one of their wins came against a team called...

Is it possible to have two coming out parties within 48 hours of each other? If you are Marshon Brooks, sure why not?
Two days after scoring a career high 18 points against Dartmouth, Marshon Brooks had one of the best shooting nights for a Friar in a long time, going 11-15 from the field and 5-8 behind the arc, on his way to 30 points. More impressively, Brooks came off the bench, and only...
